Practice Schedule

Beginning in early February, to prepare for the racing season, we practice weekend mornings only. Once daylight savings time begins, we add weekday evening practices. The full practice schedule continues until our racing season concludes in mid-September. Our off-season then begins with paddling Saturday mornings only through mid-December.

Members sign up for practice sessions on the Lokahi TeamSnap website or app (returning members are added to the TeamSnap roster when dues are paid). The times and dates of practices may change due to race schedules and holidays.

Racing Season 2018 – Early February through September

Saturday and Sunday mornings
7:45 a.m. on the beach, and 8:00 a.m. on the water

Tuesday and Thursday evenings
5:45 p.m. on the beach, and 6:00 p.m. on the water

Saturday morning practices typically target endurance training, and are most appropriate for veteran and competitive paddlers. Sunday morning practices are geared towards new paddlers (with specialized instruction), but all paddlers are welcome. Weekday evening practices are shorter in duration, and focus on specific paddling skills. They are appropriate for all skill and experience levels.

Off Season 2018 – September through December

Saturday mornings only
7:45 a.m. on the beach, and 8:00 a.m. on the water
